For the price, the only drawback of this unit is the lack of features in the programs and settings area.  Unlike other Horizon Fitness products, the Evolve SG only comes with 2 factory programs for adjustable workout routines.  The 1.5 horsepower motor provides resistance for upto 6mph only - a definite drawback considering that the standard is much higher on machines that are far less expensive.  However, while sacrificing design options for storage ease, the Evolve SG does include a handy thumb pulse rate monitor and simplified console controls which allow for some modification to your workout regimen.
