Kettler Verso TX3 Folding Treadmill

Kettler Verso TX3 Folding Treadmill

Fairly new to the treadmill market, the Kettler Verso TX3 Folding Treadmill is a pretty sturdy unit.  One of the more high end models, the price tag means you're getting a lot of features built into a tidy and attractive package.  Some highlights include an incredibly powerful motor, along with advanced electronics including heart rate control, and sophisticated programming options.  At the same time, the user friendly interface ensures that you won't be fumbling around for buttons while trying to get the most out of your aerobic workout.

Kettler Verso TX3: State of the Art Workouts

At the core of the Verso TX3 is the 3.0 hp continuous-duty motor, driven by a state of the art PWM electronic motor control board which the manufacturer states, reacts 20,000 times per second, ostensibly providing a steady and smooth workout.  Adjustable speed ranges are available, from 0.5 to 11 mph.  The unit sits on a heavy duty frame with a 1,000 pound thrust incline motor which can adjust the treadmill to vertical grades of up to 12%. The speed and inclination controls rest in a conveniently located area near the side grab bars allowing for simply transfer to differing challenge levels for your workout.

The large running deck, one of the bigger ones that I've encountered so far, is 20" x 55" x 1" and boasts an exclusive KETT-FLEX Deck with 6 cushioned impact absorbing deck mounts to protect body joints.  Additional safety features include  4" wide anti-slip textured side step rails, and a low step up height of just 5.75", which is fantastic if you plan to place the unit in a low ceiling area.  Assembly is required, but I found the process to be simple taking no more than 30 minutes and the manufacturer includes all required tools for you to get the job done.

The Verso TX3 console is really fantastic.  Easy to use Heart Rate Control monitoring provides target heart rate information at the click of a button on a 6 window LED digital display, which also measures Time, Speed, Elevation, Distance, Pulse and Calories data.  A backlit LCD display with scrolling instructions, also gives feedback in standard or metric units.

If you need more advanced programming features, the Kettler Verso TX3 has 10 goal oriented factory presets including Speed Interval, Aerobic, Weight Loss, Hill Climb, Target Time, Target Distance, Target Calories, Heart Rate Control/Elevation, and Fitness Test - covering all the bases you really need to cover for both low and high impact workouts.  The direct speed controls are conveniently placed and the handy Quick Start button allows you to jump right into your workout without too much fuss.

If you're looking to make the jump into a higher end treadmill, then the Kettler Verso TX3 Folding Treadmill TX3 may be the best bang for your buck.
